Praise for The Sage's Consort and The Consort's Journey
I can’t believe that the final book in The Scholars of Elandria series comes out in less than two months! You know what’s hard? Selling a third book in a series when people haven’t read the first two.
I can tell you till I’m blue in the face about why I think you should read my books. But I thought I’d let some reviews speak for me. Here are some excerpts from my favorite reviews of my first two novels.
The Sage’s Consort (Book 1)
I loved this book! I've been wanting to dabble in romance for a while and this was just what I needed. This was the perfect balance between romance and fantasy, with an added hint of political intrigue. The characters are strong and likebale through out. They feel alive on the page. Be ready to love them, laugh with them, and cry with them.—M on Amazon
I just wasn't feeling it. I would recommend to anyone who 1. Wants Worldbuilding tips or 2. Likes the nuances and struggles of relationships—JER on Amazon
Unlike many works in this category, The Sage's Consort avoids an overly stylized language that would serve to distance the readers. Craiker manages to keep the dialogue between the characters quite realistic, sidestepping the pitfall of cheesily sanitary language that many other authors employ, which ends up damaging the believability of their characters.—TXBaritone27 on Amazon
The Consort’s Journey (Book 2)
The writing in The Consort’s Journey is flawless. There are absolutely beautiful descriptions, but they don’t detract from the story. The characters have a wide range of emotions without it ever becoming repetitive or boring…There’s also some well-timed humor. It provides some respite without taking away from the story’s powerful themes. Very well done.—Rei on Amazon
The Consort's Journey, the second novel in the Scholars of Elandria series, captivates you from the very beginning to the last sentence.—TXBariton27 on Amazon
Krystal N. Craiker did it again! Continuing from The Sage’s Consort, she has crafted another story full of intrigue, love, magic, and mystery. The Sage and her Consort are an endearing couple and I love following them along as they grow.—Rob P. on Amazon
